CloudAgents Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: [Month Day, Year]
Merchant / Operator:12783185 Canada Inc. ("we," "us")
Services:CloudAgents hosted OpenClaw agent instances, the minimal HTTPS API that accepts wallet-signed requests, and optional access to Wayfinder's blockchain data endpoints via API key ("Wayfinder Data API"), including any related SDKs ("SDK").
1) Overview and Zero-Tolerance Policy
CloudAgents may only be used for lawful purposes. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for activity that violates this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"), our Terms of Use, or applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without notice, to protect users, our infrastructure, and third parties.
2) Your Responsibility for Credentials and Control
Because CloudAgents is an agent-hosting service, you are responsible for keeping access secure, including:
- SSH keys generated or configured at setup
- Wallet credentials used to sign requests to our HTTPS API
- Any tokens/keys used by your agent, integrations, or SDK usage
You must not share, sell, or transfer credentials in a way that enables abuse. You are responsible for all actions taken through your instance, keys, or wallet-signed requests.
3) Prohibited Uses
You may not use CloudAgents, your hosted OpenClaw agent instance, the HTTPS API, the Wayfinder Data API, or any SDK to engage in any of the following (attempted or actual):
A) Illegal Activity and Harmful Content
- Fraud, theft, impersonation, or deceptive practices
- Threats, harassment, stalking, or intimidation
- Hateful content or discrimination targeting protected classes
- Child sexual exploitation material (strictly prohibited)
- Trafficking, illegal drug sales, or other criminal enterprises
B) IP Infringement and Unauthorized Distribution
- Unauthorized copying, distribution, or sharing of copyrighted content (including software, media, torrents, or "piracy" services)
- Circumventing DRM or enabling infringement-at-scale
- Using primarily as a file-sharing or distribution node
C) Security Abuse, Intrusion, and Network Attacks
- Scanning, probing, or testing vulnerabilities of any system without explicit authorization
- Malware, botnets, ransomware, credential stuffing, phishing, or payload delivery
- DDoS attacks, traffic amplification, or attempts to disrupt networks/services
- Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, quotas, or security controls
- Interfering with, reverse engineering, or compromising our infrastructure or other customers' instances
D) Spam, Net Abuse, and Unsolicited Communications
- Unsolicited bulk email or messaging, "mailbombing," or abusive automation
- Using non-existent/forged sender identities, or deceptive headers/domains
- Using the Services to operate spam campaigns, phishing campaigns, or affiliate abuse
E) Abuse of Hosted Resources and "Fair Use"
CloudAgents is hosted infrastructure. You may not:
- Run workloads designed to consume excessive CPU/RAM/storage/network to the detriment of other customers or platform stability
- Use the Services as a general-purpose storage vault (e.g., offsite backup, media hosting) unless explicitly included in your plan
- Mine cryptocurrency or run compute-intensive workloads unrelated to your permitted use of the Services
- Operate "open relay" or proxy services that facilitate abuse
We may throttle, suspend, or require changes if your instance causes instability, excessive resource consumption, or policy violations.
F) Misuse of Agent Automation
Agents can move fast; mistakes can compound. You may not use CloudAgents-hosted agents to:
- Automate deception, impersonation, or social engineering
- Scrape/harvest data in violation of others' terms or privacy laws
- Perform unauthorized trading, liquidation, or "fund movement" flows on behalf of others without proper authority
- Run autonomous workflows that violate third-party platform rules or create user harm
G) Wayfinder Data API Key and SDK Misuse
If you use the optional Wayfinder Data API:
- Do not share or resell API keys, or provide "API access as a service" unless explicitly authorized in writing.
- Do not bypass quotas, rate limits, attribution requirements (if any), or access controls.
- Do not use the Data API to facilitate illegal activity, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or fraud.
- Do not attempt to infer sensitive personal data from on-chain activity where prohibited by applicable law.
Note: The OpenClaw agent repository is open-source and can be used without our Wayfinder Data API key if modified; the key is offered for convenience and supported configuration. This does not reduce your responsibility to comply with this AUP.
4) Sanctions and Restricted Jurisdictions/Persons
CloudAgents is not available for use in jurisdictions or by persons where providing the service would violate applicable sanctions or trade restrictions. This includes (among others) jurisdictions and persons restricted under sanctions maintained by authorities such as the United States (OFAC), United Kingdom, European Union, and United Nations.
5) Content and Data You Run on CloudAgents
You are responsible for the content you transmit, store, or process through your instance, including any prompts, outputs, logs, configs, and integrations. You must ensure you have the rights and legal basis to use any data you feed into your agent or retrieve via third parties.
6) Enforcement
If we determine (in our reasonable judgment) that you have violated this AUP or created risk to the platform, we may:
- Suspend or terminate your account and/or hosted instance
- Disable or rotate API keys
- Block traffic, domains, IPs, wallet-signed requests, or SSH access
- Remove or restrict content
- Report activity to law enforcement or relevant authorities where required or appropriate
We may also preserve relevant logs/records to investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect users.
7) Reporting Abuse
To report suspected abuse, security issues, or policy violations, contact CloudAgents support: [email protected]
Please include timestamps, instance identifiers (if known), and any relevant evidence.
8) Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated AUP.
